In August 2022, Romania will organize for the first time Racing Pigeon Olympiad, a leading event of the international pigeon fanciers structure that validates the credibility and respect enjoyed internationally by F.N.C.P.R. The event is organized under the guidance of the International Pigeons Federation (F.C.I.) representing the interests of more than 4 million fanciers from around the world. The International Pigeons Federation was established in 1937, is based in Belgium and has 70 affiliated federations worldwide.
The Racing Pigeon Olympiad is an international event that brings together pigeons from all over the world and it is organized every two years .
We will organize the 37th edition in Oradea, with guests delegations from the 70 countries and about 15000 visitors and exhibitors.
During the Racing Pigeon Olympiad, visitors can not only see excellent, high-performance pigeons, but also learn about the history of racing pigeon sport and famous pigeon fanciers. In addition, there will be an exhibition with the participation of many important companies, which will present their best products.
The criteria for Racing Pigeon Olympic participation are determined by the FCI Sports Committee and approved by the FCI Director Committee.
